An honor to contribute to such a major milestone to Doha Film Institute. Transforming a historical landmark like QPS into my canvas for this project was an unforgettable experience. I'm incredibly grateful to the DFI team, fischer Appelt Marketing and the A/V crew for supporting this wild journey!

Hologram is an audiovisual performance that blends live projection mapping, modular synthesizers and acoustic instruments. Expanding beyond our surroundings and reality, Hologram offers a gateway to uncharted territories through its distinct fusion of audiovisual components. Originating from the MENA region, it intertwines sonic explorations with visual narratives, inspiring innovative perspectives. As a medium eager for narratives, Hologram pushes the boundaries of contemporary storytelling, providing immersive experiences and array of interpretations and possibilities.

The audio experience is produced by Sonic Jeel. Projection mapping and film archive by Hadeer Omar. The electronic synth performers are Michael Hersrud and Simone Muscolino with assistance from Samip Khulal. The guest oud player is Abdulrahman Al-Thani and the guitarist is Sameeh Iftikhar.
Sonic Jeel is a collaborative lab investigating sound, electronic music, and audiovisual media within the context of Qatar and the Gulf region. Hadeer Omar new media artist, Assistant professor and A/V performer. Sameeh Iftikhar, renowned for his dynamic percussion & Multi instrumentalist is a pivotal figure in the modern rock and fusion music scene and Abdulrahman Al-Thani is a multidisciplinary artist, multi- instrumentalist, music producer, composer and researcher in the fields of music theory, Arabic Maqam and Khaleeji musical folklore.

Hadeer Omar and Youssef Alimam, aka (Jaden Oath) are collaborating on an experimental performance; earlier this year, they performed together at Tam gallery space in Abu Rawash. "It's everywhere" is a live video art performance and trip that reacts in real-time to live music. Jayden Oath is an electronic music project with prominent psychedelic elements. A hybrid fusion of analog synths, rock vocals, organic ingredients, and cinematic soundscapes.
